About

I am a cyber security expert and researcher. Most notably, my interests include security monitoring & operations, vulnerability detection, management & triage, and process- and context-aware security for control systems (e.g., OT, ICS, CPS, …).

Between October 2024 and April 2026, I was a researcher at the SPRITZ Security and Privacy Research group at the University of Padua (UniPD). Previously, I was affiliated with the Security Group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) between October 2019 and October 2024. For my PhD, I am (still) supervised by Jerry den Hartog, Emmanuele Zambon, and previously Sandro Etalle (all TU/e).

I obtained my Master’s degree at Radboud University in Nijmegen following the TRU/e Master program, a collaboration between TU/e and Radboud University. The work I started with Rik and continued for my thesis eventually lead to the SAIBERSOC publication.
